The Online SSB Coaching at Mentors follows the similar pattern of training as is followed in our offline mode. This is done to make the online mode of training more meaningful by simulating realistic scenario of SSB. The online SSB Coaching at Mentors aims to be the best/ top choice for the aspirants who are unable to attend in offline mode owing to their unavoidable commitments. Certain unique features of Online SSB Coaching at Mentors are as enumerated below
All online classes are only live classes by highly experienced GTOs / Psychologists and Interviewing officers who have served in SSB for long duration.
Personal Attention is given to each candidate. It is for this reason that the batch size will be limited to maximum 10 candidates, which is similar to the batch size of SSB. In such a group in GTO Indoor Tasks like Group discussions and Group Planning Exercise the candidates can actually participate and performance of each candidates can be monitored/ assessed and he/she can be trained effectively by GTO.
For the GTO Outdoor Tasks complete video recording of different tasks has been done on GTO ground where instructions by GTO followed by demonstration by candidate is shown for different outdoor tasks. The concept is that if the candidate cannot go to the ground, the ground digitally comes to him on screen.
In Psych Technique also live online classes will be conducted by Psychologist. This is followed by online psychological series test where the performance of each candidate will be evaluated. The psychologist will then Counsel each candidate individually to address their individual mistakes.
In Interviewing Technique two personal interviews are conducted for each candidate. After the first interview the candidate is apprised about his/ her shortcomings and thereafter the key highlight at Mentors is that candidate will go through following training module before facing 2nd interview:-
- Lectures on Leadership Skills and Personality Development where the candidate is apprised on the qualities I a candidate that SSB is looking for and how to develop them through daily practices. This helps the candidate to overcome short comings in his/ her personality.
- Lecture on IO technique on the logic behind the Descriptive Questionnaire asked by IO, which helps the candidate to prepare better for interview.
- Lectures on General Awareness which is the one of the target area in SSB. It will enhance takeoff level of candidates in SSB wherein they will be able to answer more questions in interview. Also in GTO Tech. quality of GDs and lecture will be better
- This will be followed by second interview where the candidate’s progress is evaluated.
- These two interviews are specifically taken by different interviewing officers, to give more exposure and confidence to candidates to face different Interviewing Officers.
- Duration of training at Mentors is two weeks. However, since every individuals is different personality therefore binding everybody with the same duration of training may not be justifiable. Some candidates do need extra time for additional training including revision for developing their personality. For this reason the institute encourages candidates to stay at least one week extra which is free of cost. Therefore at Mentors we provide candidates with extended duration of three weeks of SSB Coaching to facilitate them to accrue maximum benefit from training at Mentors.
