NAVY PILOT SSB
For those with an aspiration to fly in the skies over the challenging environment of the sea, the Navy needs Pilots for its Naval Air Arm. Naval aircraft search, locate and attack enemy ships, submarines and aircraft whilst providing a defensive cover to our assets at sea. Naval Pilots operate fighter aircraft and helicopters from aircraft carriers and ships at sea as well as maritime reconnaissance aircraft from ashore. Pilot candidates will undergo 22 weeks of Naval Orientation Course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, followed by Stage I and Stage II flying training at the Air Force Academy/Naval Establishment /Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udaan Academy (IGRUA).
Indian Navy recruits people to its executive branch and sailor branch. The Executive branch officers man the command appointments on board. The recruitment is advertised through the Employment News and all important National and Regional news papers/dailies.
On successful completion of training, the candidates will be awarded the coveted ‘Wings’.MENTORS develops the personality of an individual based on the standards of the SSB and focuses on assisted self-introspection under the well-developed infrastructure and under the guidance of Experienced EX-officers of the Service Selection Board (SSB), Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) and Naval Selection Board (NSB).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
- BE/B.Tech degree in any discipline with Physics & Maths in 12th standard.
- A candidate holding valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India) (optional).
