Age Limit
On the day of enrolment, the age for a Senior Secondary Recruit candidate should be between 16-20 years, i.e. the candidates should have been born between 01 Aug 1998 to 31 Jul 2002 (Both dates inclusive).
Exam dates:
For courses starting in August/September and February/March respectively, the Navy SSR Exam is carried out twice per year and advertised online and in all the leading newspapers
Selection Phases:
The applicants are chosen on the basis of a written exam, a physical fitness test (PFT) and a medical examination.
